Lake Clark National Park in Alaska is a amazing place to photograph Brown Bears. We visited a lake in which the bears hunt for salmon. This particular bear had three cubs to feed and she had a special technique to get her food. She would dive down completely to grab the fish, swim back up and shake it through the air before bringing it to her cubs. In this image you can see the Fish eggs flying through the air as she shakes it.

Last year at Lake Clark Nationalpark we came across this bear that had a very special way of catching its salmon. It would dive down completely and pick salmon that were swimming close to the ground. Once she came back up with a fish she would shake while holding the fish in her mouth. In this particular instance all the fish eggs started flying through the air, it made for some very interesting photo opportunities.
